We're 6 total, my immediate team. There have been many others who have worked on the project.

We believe the Tranquility, left unobstructed, will continue to cause harm to many, many people. Our goal is to stop that, and help anyone it may cause harm to. That includes you.

I'm a communications and research officer. My job is to gather as much information as possible so that decision can be made, but I am not the one who makes it.

But I very much hope that what you've said will not be the case.

what happens to these places and people after the Tranquility crosses their path?
what happened to the people of Arima?

Arima offered no unique data in relation to the circumstances surrounding the Tranquility.

The people of Strela outpost were found in a horrifying state we have come to describe as inertia. They were unresponsive to most stimuli, and could not care for themselves. Many of them had simply wasted away.

The souls on the Cyllene were found as being out of phase with our plane of reality, if that makes sense. They would occasionally be able to affect objects or station systems, but were otherwise unable to interact with anything or anyone. We believe this was as a result of some contact with the Tranquility's jump drive. Attempts are still being made to find a way to retrieve them.

I imagine you don't need me to explain what happened to the crew of the Scylla.

Of course you do. You're a primary source.

I don't want to give you false promises; I don't believe we have enough information yet to know exactly how we can help. But what we want to do is make sure you don't suffer any more horror or trauma due to the phenomena surrounding the Tranquility. And if we can understand how it is you were brought here, we can try to send you back to your homes.
