It's been an interesting month, I'll put it that way. I did make something of a recruitment pitch myself some few weeks back. Sparks of interest, but you know how these postings go.
I know how those posts go, yeah. Usually people need so much push to get them to consent to making an effort; the same goes for anything. You give people the right to vote, and don't be surprised when less than a handful of those people bother to show up.
The best thing for it is to keep pushing, remind those people of their interest, give them another nudge. Maybe this is exactly what you need to turn those sparks into fires?
We haven't met but I'm wondering if you'd like to put your abilities to use on Arima. I have a plan that will be to our benefit and it could use a telepath. It shouldn't be very complicated for you and will probably just take an evening. If you're interested I'll explain the details.
Last night I stumbled on a shady back room gambling den. I'd like to take advantage of the opportunity. I don't know about you, but my locker didn't come with any currency and I'm short on anything these locals are willing to trade for.
It definitely had a specific air of shadiness. Rooms full of dirty money look about the same anywhere, it turns out. Mostly cards here, and that's what I'm interested in. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this.
You wish to mercilessly cheat unwitting locals with possible violent and certainly ill tempered proclivities towards foreigners for cash and profit using the power of telepathy.
Alright, good. I'll be in touch when I've got our third, but I'm aiming for later tonight. The place I have in mind is pretty upscale from the front, so dress like you're used to cutting past the velvet rope line, if possible.
Miles Edgeworth is a telekinetic with minimal to no training on how to use his ability and a tendency to lash out with it unconsciously when in emotionally heightened states. He is possibly being compromised further due to torture under Morgoth on Arima. He is refusing to seek help.
I would like your opinion on whether or not this is worth reporting to his superior in security.
He's fine. Fine enough to stand upright and argue with me about it for over an hour. He appeared to have a brief panic episode when I pressed him about blacking out, but he remained cognizant enough to be evasive about it. By the end he was more concerned over the fact that I questioned his professional credibility, so I can't attest to the validity of whether or not he did really black out, but he is definitely capable of moving things independently of his physical form.
[ Speaking of evasive, Sev, Charles notes your selective reading comprehension. But moves on, for the moment. ]
That seems in character from what i've seen. If you believe him a danger to fellow passengers then yes I would at least ask Tyke if she's aware. Perhaps I should talk to him as well.
[ That was actually very deliberate reading comprehension tyvm. ]
He is a danger, yes. I suggested he speak to you, but as he's convinced I am evil incarnate, you are unfortunately the right hand of the devil. Which is not to say you shouldn't, but there's your head's up.
The damage is on record with medical via Peter Petrelli's intake. I'll live.
Edgeworth asked me to meet him alone, did his best to pick fight about Sirius Black, then attacked me physically when I tried to leave. When I stunned him to get him off of me, he lashed out with what I assume was telekinesis. I fought back, he stopped immediately after, and claimed to have not been aware of himself when he attacked me.
