The volunteer situation is looking pretty dire across the ship. Following the jump, I was thinking of posting a general announcement letting everyone know just how much of an emergency this is, with a space to put them straight in contact with the relevant departments. Could you swing responding to that, or find out who in the department might handle recruitment best?

It's been an interesting month, I'll put it that way. I did make something of a recruitment pitch myself some few weeks back. Sparks of interest, but you know how these postings go.

I know how those posts go, yeah. Usually people need so much push to get them to consent to making an effort; the same goes for anything. You give people the right to vote, and don't be surprised when less than a handful of those people bother to show up.

The best thing for it is to keep pushing, remind those people of their interest, give them another nudge. Maybe this is exactly what you need to turn those sparks into fires?
