to a point and only because Ryuuzaki was able to have a look while the line was going what he was able to discern was that the signal used to hijack my comms device was coming from outside the ship
which was of course only interesting at the time
I gave it a different/distinct name so that it might present a red flag to the next person it tried but I suppose it got impatient
I got the impression I was a random signal she'd managed to make contact with she responded to misinformation very minimally and didn't assert correction getting information out of her was very difficult, save to get a sense of what she was trying to get out of me
my feeling is they don't want to help us at all and they can use us better than we can use them
not to mention that we needed her to talk to track the signal, and the same could be true vice versa for all I know, it's the longevity of our conversations with her that helped her tap into the network itself
If you could put out a signal for us to track, perhaps. But the jumps take the ship over such large distances that it still wouldn't offer much assistance.
